@home presents……

A tale under the influence ….. of audience suggestion.

Take six actors, a play they have never read, audience participation and suggestions, throw in some booze and what do you get? Hilarious comedy, hopefully. Shakespeare is hard enough to read sober, but imagine the chaos when alcohol is involved.
In the tradition of DRUNK SHAKESPEARE in New York, who popularized the Drunk Shakespeare event, the Theatre Guild @home series presents WHEN SHAKESPEARE GOES WRONG – AN INTOXICATING EVENING OF COMEDY. Two actors (randomly chosen by the audience) take 4 shots of a spirit (also selected in advance by the audience). The entire cast of six then attempt to read the classic script that they will have never read before. Hilarity and mayhem ensues while the four sober actors try to keep the script on track. To further complicate matters there is the WHEEL OF FATE – at random times the host will spin the wheel forcing the cast to continue reading under whatever circumstances the wheel demands – an opera, as a horror movie, in Pig latin, etc.

Tickets are $10.00 and may be purchased online through the Guild’s Facebook page, or click the form below (through Eventbrite.com).

This event is completely LIVE and will be presented only once. “Drink, sir, is a great provoker…..” Macbeth, Act 2, Scene 3 This is an event created by YOU. So, go online and buy a ticket.
